Remembering the little bits of magic that my father added to my life got me thinking. I was so charmed and shaped by it, to this day I’m Influenced to look for magic everywhere.
The subject randomly came up in a conversation with a friend, and suddenly I was telling stories of how my father took me on walks in the woods and introduced me to the magic that is everywhere. The pillows of moss are where the fairies dance, the mushrooms are their homes, the knots in the tree roots filled with water are where the bunny rabbits brush their teeth. There is even a magic tree that drops pennies when you make a wish. Ahh, sweet memories!
Why not continue this way of looking at things? Here are some thoughts.
MAKE MAGIC AN EVERYDAY PERSPECTIVE
Many of us were raised on Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny and remember the excitement that those beliefs generated. The anticipation was as much of the joy as the actual event. When you are looking for magic, it becomes the same thing. Looking for the unusual, like rainbows, shapes in clouds, angel numbers (1111, 222 etc.), shapes in trees, bird sightings, interactions with wild creatures all bring that joy and a lift when discovered.
BELIEVE IT’S POSSIBLE
I haven’t found a person who doesn’t love noticing serendipity in a sequence of events. Like wanting something miraculous to happen and it does. I have so many examples of this in my life – adopting my son is a miracle story, finding and buying my home seemed like being given a gift, meeting Lee was like divine intervention. When you have clear intention, believe and seek, it will come to you! Start with your intention and believe in its possibility.
SHARE THE JOY
What makes finding magic enticing is sharing the discovery. The more you tell your stories, the more you raise the spirits of yourself and those around you. We need the uplift your stories of magic and miracles bring now more than ever. Please share them!
