Are Your Attracting Things You Don’t Want?

Everyone has heard like attracts like, but what if you are attracting things you don’t want? With chaos and destructive change around us, it’s easy to stay in fear and find your thoughts and activities closing in around the negative.

Despite it sounding so easy, there is subtlety to making the Law of Attraction work.  if you’re in the middle of things you don’t like for yourself, read on. I’m reposting and adding to a blog I wrote years ago, in hopes it may be helpful

Here are some clarifying ideas:

BE CLEAR ABOUT WHAT YOU WANT

Start by clarifying what you want. Ask yourself the hard questions. Are you seeking what’s important to you, or trying to fit a round peg in a square hole?  If you’re serving your ego and not your greatest good, you’re pushing against the river and it will never work. Are you trying to change things you don’t have control over? Take your focus off the chaos and focus on what is important to you.  

CHECK OUT YOUR SECRET THOUGHTS

Another pit fall are your secret thoughts. If you have countering, negative thoughts about yourself or the people around you, your contradictory energy will sabotage you.  Negativity takes form when it’s given time and attention and will derail your stated desires. It’s impossible not to notice the negativity around now, get clear on not taking it on for yourself,

SPEAK UP AND CREATE THE CHANGE YOU SEEK

Could things be better if a few changes were made? Sometimes the energy of the people around you needs to be redirected. Be the change. Thoughts are energy and perception can change in a flash, Create huge shifts by talking about the needed change. The more we do this right now; the sooner the change we are seeking will happen.

IF THAT DOESN’T WORK… IT’’S TIME FOR A CHANGE

Pay attention, sometimes things don’t work for a good reason. If you’re clear, your thoughts are aligned with your greatest good and you’ve tried to make your situation better and it hasn’t worked, maybe it’s time for change in ways you haven’t considered. Stay open and ask your wise mind for clarity.
