I’ve been meditating for decades to be more centered, calm and connected to my own wisdom. But, it wasn’t until I realized that I was also connecting to my guides, who were assisting me, that I have learned how mediation helps you through hard times.
This has been especially true this week dealing with a very difficult situation. I learned that one of my family members has a brain lesion and needed immediate surgery. The last four days spent at the hospital have been dramatic and scary. But in meditation, I saw images that calmed me, giving me information that he would be surrounded and helped by guides.
Since I’m so preoccupied, this blog will be brief.
This isn’t the first time I’ve gotten information like this from mediation. In fact, every time I’ve faced hard times, I’ve received wisdom and knowledge that has put things in perspective.
I realize that I have learned to use meditation to tap into higher order learning and knowing. It’s what the Ewe tribe priests of rural Ghana do when they meditate and consult their guides. In my travels to Ghana, I’ve come to understand this process more thoroughly.
I’d love to share this with you. I’m teaching the Essential Elements of A Fruitful Mediation Practice that will detail how you can do this for yourself. Make plans to attend – it’s on Wednesday May 30th from 6:30-8:30 at Centered , 309 N. Ashland Ave. Lexington, KY. You can find more information at www.spectrumtransformation.com or http://www.centeredlex.org/calendar or call 859-721-1841 to register. I welcome you to attend.
I’ll write more next week when things settle down. Thank you!
