Things To Consider In The Final Phase Of Manifestation

This final phase of manifestation has been over two years in the making. It involved several trips to Senegal during the pandemic. It involved countless hours upon hours of work for Lee and more than I can count for me in these final months. There is no letting up, we will debut this part of the final phase next weekend.

We live in a culture where we want things to come easy – if you want it bad enough it should just float in. Right? Well, no, the truth is, when you want something badly enough you are willing and excited to go the full distance to bring it into being. That’s where we are.

Here are some of my observations on what you need to consider in the final phases of manifestation.

START WITH THE END IN SIGHT AND KEEP IT IN THE FOREFRONT

At the beginning of this project, a musical tour de force entitled “The Senegal Project “was conceived in an Uber, the driver being our Senegalese star, musician Alioune Guisse. He was the one who declared, “I want to do a project with you” to Lee and I when he heard about our non-profit organization that highlights the music and arts of other countries/cultures. The planning began right then.

It was two years later when we brought Alioune to Lexington and saw his electrifying performance at our Roots and Heritage Festival that we realized the high level he is used to operating on. He was mesmerizing on stage and exacting about the quality of the music; he and Lee were totally on the same page. That’s when the big picture plans to write an album and perform together really jelled. They have held it out in front of them ever since.

KEEP YOUR STANDARDS HIGH

Since both Lee and Alioune are professional musicians, it wasn’t hard for them to imagine their projects at a high level. What was surprising was the number of people who wanted to be part of it but who were not able to deliver their work at that same level.

It took discernment and regrouping to find the right people to be involved. It meant moving from one recording studio in Dakar to another, changing some musicians, and inviting top recording artists from Senegal to be involved. They all showed up – excited to be a part of a high-caliber project. It has meant not self-publishing the album but taking time to shop it with record labels, something still in process. It has meant finding just the right photographer and videographer and imagining the finished product. It all takes time; you can’t rush high standards.

MAP OUT A TIMELINE OF ALL TASKS

The timeline for the final phase of this project is still a year from full completion. The most important phase of writing, recording, and mastering the music has happened, with the exciting long-awaited album debut next weekend. But there is still a lot to be done: finding a label, producing a video and photos for an electronic press kit, and marketing. This final phase is a lot.

Having all these tasks on a timeline is essential. Finding just the right people to do the job comes next. All the while, keeping the same quality and high standards. The idea is to have a product you are really proud of because you will be living with it for the rest of your life.

GIVE YOURSELF PLENTY OF TIME AND SPACE TO CREATE

Manifesting something that is an accurate reflection of who you are and what you believe is important, it’s the core of this manifestation project. It’s meant taking the time and space to develop what that means and being willing to set standards outside of the mainstream. Consequently, its originality sets it apart.

With social media driving what people consider hip, attractive, interesting, worthwhile, and sellable, it becomes easy to be culled into accepting others’ standards. Take the time to fully concentrate on your message and your product by tuning into yourself to fully know what wants to be expressed. Then and only then will you find the right market. There is a market for anything – be true to yourself and the market will come to you.

Manifesting something and bringing it to its final phase means keeping your standards clear.

Start with the end in sight and keep it in the forefront, keep your standards high, without compromise, have a timetable of your tasks, and give yourself plenty of time and space to ensure that what you are creating is uniquely yours. By setting your bar high, you can be assured that your manifestation will be something you can be proud of for a lifetime.
